It’s classified as a Dubbel, and they are typically rich, full bodied and malty. Well. Sign me up. I gave this beer a 4.25 (out of 5) on Untappd, and I rarely rate over 4. It is sensational.

Tongerlo Bruin

Dubbels are a style that was born out of the Trappist monasteries. Over time, the style became stronger, darker and richer. This Tongerlo is no exception. It has a deep brown colour, great head and amazing flavour profile. It is a beer you want to really savour because of it’s caramel and malt flavours. It has a very low hop profile, making it much less bitter than other styles. It’s awesome.
